Men’s Head Coach

The Southern Vikings are excited to welcome back Bill Morrison as the Men’s Head Coach for the 2025 season.

Bill brings decades of playing and coaching experience to the role. His achievements include leading the Australian Men’s Tackle Team to victory over New Zealand in 2025, guiding the Vikings to the Vic Bowl Final in 2023, and securing the Division 2 Championship in 2024.

He is passionate about working with players, recognising their courage, commitment, and relentless effort. With his knowledge and experience, Bill will continue to drive the men’s program forward and inspire the team both on and off the field.

We’re proud to have him leading the Vikings once again. Welcome back, Coach Bill!

Under 18’s Head Coach

The Southern Vikings are proud to introduce Daniel Honey as our new Under 18’s Head Coach! 

Daniel brings playing experience, leadership, and a strong passion for the game into his first year of coaching. Having been part of our Vic Bowl–winning squad and a leader on the field, he’s ready to guide the next generation of Vikings through their development.

We’re excited to see the impact Daniel will have on our U18 program and the future of the club.

Under 15’s Head Coach

Big news for the Southern Vikings! We’re excited to welcome Brian Nicks as our new Under 15’s Head Coach.

With years of playing and coaching experience across football and lacrosse, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for developing young athletes. His focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and resilience makes him the perfect fit to guide our next generation of Vikings.

Brian is eager to create an environment where players can grow their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the journey both on and off the field. We’re proud to have him leading the way as we continue to strengthen our Viking family.

Offensive Coordinator

The Southern Vikings are proud to welcome back Brian Calloway for the 2025 season! 

After leading our Under 18s to the VicBowl in their debut season and guiding the Men’s squad to a Division 2 Championship in their first year, Brian now takes on a brand-new challenge as the Men’s Offensive Coordinator.

Having overseen our defense last season, Brian brings proven leadership, experience, and passion as he shifts to lead the offense in 2025. We’re excited to see the impact he’ll make as we continue to grow Viking football.

Line Coach

The Southern Vikings are proud to welcome back Walter Sanders as our Line Coach! 

Walter has been a driving force in Victorian gridiron for decades as both a player and coach and we’re excited to have him back on the Vikings sideline. His championship experience, leadership, and passion for developing athletes make him an invaluable part of our team.
